2.1 wbx for sale

Hi all,Ill be there at the nationals,my bus will probably be in the car park(if it is not off the road),but I will be there ,hope to catch up with those you are there for our 25 year celebration.
Just wanted to give group first chance at my 89 wbx engine,wiring loom,and ecu and other parts that are for sale ,whilst I am doing my subaru conversion before I put them on ebay.Anyone who is interested in any of these parts should email me.The engine has done 191 000 kms,the heads were done at 177,I have owned it for three years and have done about 12 000km.I have only just replaced the water pump.I know the history of this vehicle,it has always been very well looked after.The engine is still in car at the moment,so group members are welcome for a test drive.I am ready to sell.I look foward to hearing from one of you soon.

Gday Ben,
I routinely monitor for bargain 2nd hand spares on ebay and The Samba looking for mostly spares. For example at some stage I'd probably buy things like an engine idle stabilizer module and maybe the ecu and any coolant hoses in decent nic and plastic junction distributor (heh I might buy your new spare haha) and as you say maybe the wiring loom. Have you got a list of the bits and pieces to then know what you are selling? The engine is interesting but I'm not sure what it's worth, I see them often enough on The Samba for a range of prices and occasionally here in Oz. Have you done a compression test and know the results for each cylinder? My WBX is just shy of 200,000 so not unlike yours except I have no idea of the history of the motor.

Ok Ken,just know that I do have those things for sale.As far as comp. test,I will do that before I pull it.
