Rick,

You are absolutely obliged to recruit members to the Syncro_T3_Australia website!

Les,
I will surely do the recruitment bit. As a project I think we could
really use a Aus Syncro LOGO and sticker we Syncronaughts can stick
on our vans something subtle but effective. This would raise the
profile and let people know about this site who walk past our
Syncros when they are parked unattended or on the go.
Any artist out there with drawing skills that we can tap into to get
some ideas from?
Rgds
Rick.

Rick,

Funny that you should mention that because I already have several that I use at VW Club gatherings in Victoria.  I can print them in A4 or A3 size, have them laminated and stick them on the windscreen during such events.   Sample attached.  This is very basic but I can certainly include graphics.  I also hand out the little ones that I sent you yesterday.  It all works well and we have picked up several members this way.

I will have a look at the permanent vehicle sign concept, also with graphics.   It's a very good idea.

Hello Les

Thanks for the warm welcome to the Syncro group and for your
preparedness to assist me with my enquiries. Les, maybe you better send
me a dummies rule book concerning matters like not going off topic etc
on this site ... lol, don't want to wear out my welcome too early.

You were saying about reviving existing members from the Central Coast
etc. So far I've only seen one Syncro around here, a light blue T3
Syncro Caravelle with a 2.7L Subaru motor ... all in impeccable
condition. And that begs the question, for all those people who install
Subaru motors, talking about Subaru motors on this site ... is that also
construde as going "off topic"? Gets a bit messy eh.

I'd certainly be interested to encourage dormant Central Coast Syncro
members to re-activate. Perhaps in due course we Central Coast
Syncronites may get to meet up and work toward that objective one way or
another.

So if and when I do see a Syncro in my travels, it occurred to me that
having available an official Syncro Group flier to hand to the Syncro
driver or place under their wiperblade if unnattended might be pretty
useful. Any thoughts on that please.

Ok I'll see about the Sunday event during the Easter holidays, I'll
check my calender. I've never been to one of these events.

Thanks Les and cheers all

Ken
