A/C Dash Housing

Hi All,
When I bought my Syncro the Air Conditioning housing that sits in the dash with 4 vents was missing. Does anyone have this part perhaps on a wreck or on a vehicle where the A/C has been removed? I would be eternally grateful.

Do u have a picture of what u want???there are 2 different types that I know of that are dash mounted...

Hi Michael,
I didnt know there are 2 types of A/C`s. The companies name is Supercool and I have a 1990 Trakka Syncro. The A/C was fitted when Trakka were based in Brisbane and Supercool were based at Southport. There is a square cut out in the dash in front of the passenger seat and an insulated wire that feeds into a condenser from the dash (thermostat) which my wife says looks like a rats tail. I dont have a picture as the gentlmans wife from whom I bought the bus accidentely put the cover in the bin when it was removed to repair a crack thinking it was rubbish. OOPPSS! Have I given you enough info to determine which one it is. Pete has recently posted some pictures of his immaculate Syncro and the cover which I believe is the right one, can be seen on the dash clearly.

Hi Michael,
The A/C I have was fitted in my 1990 Trakka and is from "Supercool". Pete has recently posted some photos of his immaculate syncro where the A/C cover can be seen on the dash. I think that`s what I`m after. I have a square hole cut in the dash in front of the passenger seat and a thermostat wire going through the dash and into the hole. Does that help determine which one it is because I have never seen the cover as it was lost by previous owner?

Bugga...the one i have is the lower profile unit (ex telstra) will hunt up a pic tomorrow if you want,but its different...

Hi Michael,

Shame your not going to Valla. I was looking forward to meeting. I sent you a Christmas Card and a small gift last year in appreciation of the 1/4 windows but it came back to me some weeks later. I would be keen to purchase the A/C housing from you as I believe I can customise it to fit. The main thing is that its form matches that of the T3`s dash, and at present it looks terrible the way it is and not being able to utilise the cool air in the cabin.
Do you do Subi conversions yourself? I was reading an impressive American article recently about using a Ford Zetec Focus motor as a conversion for the T3? Then again it all sounds easier on paper than in nuts and bolts.
Let me know how much you would like for the dash cover.

I think I have one of those sitting on the top shelf in my shed. Mine is the one with the 4 round vents.
