How about buying s/h engine area bits from the US? Everything will align perfectly.

I'm happy to help if needed. I live near a used parts dealer who specializes in Vanagons.
The engine bits will be a lot easier to ship than ductwork.

Just for the record - we have a "Dual" Prestige Air Conditioning fitted and it works very effectively. Replaced the compressor with a 2nd hand one recently as the previous compressor seized on our way back from Coffs Harbour. The 2nd blower is mounted under the rear seat and has a separate 3-speed switch to operate for the rear (however, the system only has 1 thermostat, the switch for which is mounted at the front).
