Buying Online

Hi All,

Was looking for some bits n pieces. Some Bilstein shocks, Hub caps and odds and ends. With the Dollar going skywards I thought I would check some of the US sites. Would love to hear any positive experiences you guys have had.

Have looked at Van Cafe/Gowesty. Any others worth a look ???

Try The Samba.com they have a lot of traders that advertise on that site and the US postal service is great from my experience.

Busdepot.com is another good one to try.

 If you're spending over 1000aud including postage I'd consider either having the purchase price on invoice reduced if the seller will do it or have it sent in two separate parcels at a different date or a different shipment if possible as even with the extra shipping expense it will save you paying customs duties and gst which from experience I have found to make up aroiund 20% or more of total if you are purchasing automotive goods. A pretty big cop out especially if you buy internationally regularly and also slows customs process meaning delivery delays.
