Meant to send this to the group as well as Skot. There's no information on the website that I could see about whether anything is mailed prior to arrival.(They do for DofVW)
On oil filters I'm a Mann man - has kept my engine sweet for 210K. Think K Mart have largely abandoned stocking filters for any vehicles. Their customers must have come to similar conclusions on the true cost of cheap parts.

Right I'll be at the entrance gate at 7am. (Aiming to sleep as close nearby as possible.) I prepaid and sent off my application some weeks ago - do I just hope my name is on an entrance list on arrival or should I have received some response. Will send this and recheck the website.

I will try and make that. Which would mean leaving here @ 5:30am.

Thats like a normal work day for me anyway (when I go to Sydney that is - 2 days a week usually).

The traffic is usually good at that time anyway.

Spoke with Brian from the club today and as usual they are not expecting any syncros.He said if you want to judge the cars you need to be entered.
Peoples choice is the only class non-entered spectators can judge.

Gents,

Just checking what time everyone is planning on getting down to the gates @ the Nationals this year?

I want to pay and line up even if we don't get judged we can at least line up together and look around at all the VW's there.

Seeing its peer judging we should be able to get in quicker but I would think no later than 7:30 down there at the gates?

Any thoughts as I need to plan my weekend.

All being well there should be at least four NSW syncros so far that I know of arriving at The Nationals showground at Prairiewood this coming Saturday arvo and camping there overnight.
If any other syncros want to join the circle of beasts, you're invited!
