FW: [Syncro_T3_Australia] Batemans Bay

Talking about keys, I did the show & tell to a captive audience about the spare keys solution on the 2007 BB Tour. No one figured it out first.

The other novel key show & tell was done at Valla by Rick, be great if he repeated it at BB 2011 to mostly a different audience.

Bruce,

Sorry to hear it. Heh it's only 2 years to the next BB Tour! Probably be even wetter in Rocky by then.

Amongst other things, I was looking forward to learning (and eyeballing) whether or not you have by now properly attended to your second set of keys project!!

On that, Hartmut was a quick learner. What say you Hartmut?

Cheers.

Ken

Rick
Looking highly unlikely that I will be going to Batemans Bay.
With all this flooding and heaps of roads cut and still plenty of
rain around I think I will be staying home, unfortunately.

Very sad because I really enjoy Batemans and was looking forward to
it again this year.

Bruce
Bruce and All,
Lucky you ... At least you've made a sensible decision to pull the plug in good time.

Anyone got a reliable crystal ball that shows the tsunami weather that's hit southern QLD and now affecting the mid north coast of NSW won't trend down to the south coast soon in some lesser but still severe form?

Except for the mud larks, I'm thinking it's hard to know at this critical lead up time to BB what's the most prudent decision.

Ken

Yes it's a bad time of the year to be wanting to go anywhere up in
this part of the world, but we have had so much drought over the past
years that we had all forgotten that it is actually supposed to rain
and flood at this time of the year!!!! After all we do live at the
ocean outlet of the second biggest river system in the country. Now
the SE corner is copping it and I guess northern NSW will as well.

Second set of keys project!!! Do you have to remind everyone I locked
the keys in the van in Valla Ken? I'm not telling anyone what I've
done. Agree with Hart.....

I'll be thinking of you all have fun at Batemans and lamenting I
won't be munching those cherries I get at Wellington on the
way........there would have been no mangoes to bring with me this
time so probably just as well I can't go!!

Next time?

Bruce
