Dear friends and all,

These types of verbal abuses are not acceptable to me/us . They are entirely unwarranted on a public forum. As a relatively new Australian (although living in Oz for 30 years) we have never  witnessed such treatment  of a foreign national by a fellow Australian. I have waited 24hrs  for some reaction by our MC but have decided not to wait any longer and I do wholeheartedly apologise to BenT for the shower of words he received . This was unnecessary in that form and displayed poor judgement in dealing with a reasonable comment.  After all, it sparked off a healthy discussion on shipping costs etc.

To the group a big thank you for accepting me/us , I have learned so much I never knew about Syncros, made friends in almost every state, but I owe it to BenT to unsubscribe.

Thank you, Hartmut/Elke

Looks like you can get new ones €275. Does it cost that much to ship to OZ? Just wondering.

I am not happy that a difference of opinion can be inflated into a major argument and have said so.  The words ‘thin skinned’ come to mind.

I think it is a real shame that a misunderstanding from one member can lead to 3or4 people unsuscribing or not contributing.

This group needs the expertise and comments from Stephen.

This group can greatly benefit from both BenT and Harts overseas experience, with syncros and other stuff.

Every member has the right to post their comments or thoughts and experiences on a forum.
The group can benefit from this.
Everyone has the right to put something up Forsale for what ever price they like,if you think it is too dear, dont buy it,and dont comment.
If you dont agree or you dont like what someone says,or you dont like someone, then dont reply to their message.
"if ya cant say something nice...dont say nuthen!"

Cmon Hartmate stick around.

All,

Please let this matter rest for the time.

A small difference of opinion, which involved some lack of diplomacy and some over-sensitivity all round, has blown up into a major issue.

I am heavily involved with other matters (i.e., I have a life) which take precedence.  I will return to the matter later; in the interim, please just leave the subject be.

Les
