Hi Michael,

Pretty hard to put a figure onto this, the market is small, being a people mover makes the market even smaller. In the end the market will decide the value of the vehicle.

One would expect to realise north of 30, but so much equipment could also frighten some prospects and having so many seats , it's not really suitable for extended

outback exploring. For a camper with these specs i could think that the high 20s would be the order.

When it comes to insurance companies, I wont trust any of them, and especially the one VW is in bed with. I switched to NRMA in the hope that they are approachable

should I ever need them.

Sorry i can't contribute more on this subject  (presently in NZ at 6*C in a mini cyclone )

Thanks for the feedback Hart,
Your right Hart, not real any good for extended trips but I can always steal my old man’s Trakka for the longer trips. I mainly use it for weekends into the mountains and carting climbing and outdoor gear around. But it does sound like I might have it under insured when I get all the stuff finally moved across. The one thing I love with the T3 is how easy it is to remove and reinstall the seat. So many combination and option is needed. VW really had a good design with the T3 and the Syncro makes it even better.

Cheers,

Michael R
