Laying up our Syncro for 6 months

HI, my wife, baby and I are going back to the UK for 6months and leaving the Syncro locked up in the garage. Any advice on what to do to keep her in good health while we are away. I will disconnect the battery but that's all I can think of. I was wondering if there's anything to put in the fuel or the some way of putting oil in the cylinders? And should it be on blocks to stop the tyres going out of round? Thank you so much. Nick and Tooni
I remember the RACV used to put out an advice brochure on this topic some years back. I think it included putting it up on blocks although I have the feeling that they didn't think much was necessary for 6 months. Could be worth approaching your local organization or Googling them for current advice.
Cheers

PS Tooni and Baby willing, what Syncro bits you hoping to bring back from the UK ?

Nick, 6 months is not long enough to get too excited. Fill the tank with premium. You can buy fuel stabiliser, but I would not bother for six months. Inflate the tyres to their max rated pressure (written on side wall). Disconnect and preferably remove the battery/aux. Do you have a water tank? If so rinse drain and leave open. Greg E

THanks for the info. I saw a dual cab ute syncro on ebay yesterday in the UK...at just over $2000 at the moment!
Cheers
