Cant help you with the mechanics but here's to a very safe and enjoyable trip for you and your syncro - please take loads of photos and videos of your sand driving fun. Last time I went on there it was mid summer holidays and the first and only time I got bogged (didn't know about the reducing tyre pressure thing then) there was someone there with a snatch strap ready to hook me up before I even got out of the van.
