mysterious water leak? and Re: Traineeship: IT

Hey all

Just took the syncro for her first big run up the pacific highway. On the way
back it was raining for hours, and at our final stops I notice water running down
under the floor mats at our feet. Haven't had any time yet to investigate, but
does any one have any tips for where this mysterious water is coming from?

Dirk, I have a bit of background in the computers. I'm sure if you sell yourself
you can find something pretty easy round here if you can offer some background
experience as well great. Try Aussie job websites like seek.com.au and others.
I'm no longer in that industry but have many close friends who are, they are
doing very well just running their own businesses, don't think they are looking
for employees at the moment though. Once worked at IBM so could maybe get a
human resources contact there if you wanted, but I think seek.com is your best bet.

We're having the same thing happening with our syncro. We haven't been solving this, but have heard of other syncro people saying it could be a worn-out windscreen rubber or rust on the metal underneath that rubber. In this case the water would be able to enter the interior of the car and to run down somewhere along the front and into the area where the floor mats are located. To investigate this further, we will have to remove the windscreen and the rubber, maybe ever the dash.
