I just posted a few new photos of the blue beast on the snow this
season. They are at the end of the miscellaneous file but this link
should get you there:
Hey Guys not sure if I will get down for Valla so I thought I would post some shots of the Machine.
It sure is a credit to the previous owners and I think Its so sweet I have never had it registard but I enjoy getting her out for a few squirts up the hills here on the farm.
A mate looks like he is planing his 50th that weekend so sorry Bill. Hart, Ken & crew prob be up in FNQ wishing I was playing in the Syncro?
That is one showroom perfect vehicle with all the bells and whistles
Pete.
Love it !
Cheers,
Skot

I have just noticed the rims that are on your bus and i would like to point out that i also had the same rims on my Syncro until i put a new set of tires on them.. When the wheel nuts were tightened back up no less than 3 of the heads broke off.. They were only tightened up using a wheelbrace not a rattle gun.. When i discussed this with the guy who had supplied the tires he advised me to either have the wheels modified to suite larger nuts (with a thicker wall) or put new rims on.. I ended up putting steel Mercedes rims on...........
Anyway i hope you find this little bit of info helpful..
Cheers Tony

Tony, yes I got my van with a bag of spare nuts and had the same experence when I removed the Wheels.
Did post the issue last year and will eventually get some longer studs.
Was a little crazy for Trakka to use the standard studs. < could be grounds for a recall?????????>

Thanks Guys she is like she is because of the 20 odd years in other peoples hands. Had a great chat with the origional purchaser and like all of our machines the story was interesting.
20 odd years of bird watching.
He puhchased a Trakkado took it to his favourite out of the way creek bed campsite and got boged

They're Mercedes wheels. Trakka would not have put them on.
The nuts could be the problem if they do not go all the way in to the wheel.
They're probably standard M14 ball nuts.
