I've just measured on my bench my new uninstalled rear N37 OME. Center to centre bolt holes fully extended ... 594mm.

again from memory the extended distance of OME rear shocks ( eye to eye centre ) is 595mm. Check the extended distance of the boges.
At the height you've mentioned ( 48cm ) the OME's should be ok.

Topping out rear shocks on raised syncros really isn't a problem any
more these days :)

Thanks Martin, what happens when the longer shock allows the swing arm to drop lower? Does this cause CV joint problems?


There are two different types of longer shocks available from 
Trailmaster - so what's the problem? :) See here http://

certainly that 60mm might make the difference compared to the OME

You might want to use Porsche CVs if you are concerned about that...
924/944 would be the way to go for standard 14" or 930 for 16".
