Re: I'm in town

Hi Brian

Hope you got home OK on Saturday night. Unfortunately I wont be around for when Francesca arrives.

Update on the overheating issues. Looks like we are slowly getting there. On instructions from 'Jimmy' the mechanic who wanted to make sure the cooling system was working effectively before adding the remainder of the coolant, took the bus along the Miners Track just out of Coota and had to use 'G' gear for long uphill climbs and descents on very slippery clay surface. She went up to 3/4 then the fan cut in ,then dropped to just over 1/2 way. I suggest you don't try the miners track unless your a glutton for punishment. My dog refused to get back in the car after one particularly scary section in which I lost all steering and had to gingerly get out of the van on the 'up' side to deflate the tyres. But we got  home safely in the end.

Regards

Michael
