Sliding Door Bumper/Stop

Hi ALL,

For all T3 owners attending the VW Nationals this coming Sunday, I can do a Show-N-Tell on a part that may be missing from your van. When installed, it eliminates the harsh metal on metal sounding CLUNK when closing the sliding door.

Got one of those from Nils who 3D prints them and sells them to Van Cafe and Gowesty.

Still haven't installed it yet.

One day - too many T3's to deal with and a 69 bay and a Mk5 TDi Golf and wife, kids, dog, business, house etc etc!

Thanks for the tip Ken, had to have a quick look, sure enough it's missing from mine!

Are they the same for left and right side doors? (coming from US shops)

Yes ... just turn them around.

Hi Scott,

Unfortunately Nils cannot attend VW Nats this year, otherwise the part could have been bought direct from him at the show, so avoiding all shipping costs. But not to be.

To buy from Nils locally, the price is $15 each plus shipping to your address.


The part I bought from Nils is the same as the one shown on the Van Cafe website. The one on the GoWesty site looks different. Is it just the colour is different? No idea.
