Spares and service list

Hullo all Syncro members.
I have just been trawling through postings on this site with a view to composing a list of all the spares/service providers mentioned as being a useful businesses in helping us keep our Syncros on the road.
It occurred to me that such a list would be of benefit to every member at some time or other, so I would like to hear what others think about this proposal -
   Set up a permanent posting which is prominently listed every time a member logs on. Title it 'Syncro Spares and Service Providers' or something similar.
   Headings for countries, sub headings for states.
   Allow members to post items based on their experience with spares/service providers. Web sites, addresses, phone numbers of those providers, Comments on the member's experience with a provider.
   Anything else members might think useful.
I have to admit that my knowledge of how to do this is somewhat lacking but surely a member has the knowledge or knows someone who does. Perhaps Yahoo can provide advice!

Jon, look under the database section. One titled "parts suppliers" and one "workshop directory". I am not saying it is comprehensive just that the function already exists. I recently added some obvious ones, the more members that add to it the more useful it will become. Greg E
