Stealing our national treasure

I hope this guy doesn't start getting into t3's, especially Syncros.

Greg,

If you read the article carefully it says they do T25's which are T3's and hence they probably have their eyes on our fries!

Probably makes the ones left here worth even more.

A few years ago I heard that there were containers of "rust free" kombi shells headed for the UK on a regular basis. With any sort of luck, the less than ordinary Euro economy might slow that trend, and keep Aussie t3's and all their bits here. Eddie.

Gad sir this is hardly British. Someone should tell him that South Africa is closer, made T3s longer, the exchange rate is more favourable and they also drive on the left.

Thanks Scott, I just skimmed the article in rage and missed that. I had an aircooled t25, as they call them, when I lived in the UK for a couple of years. The seam rust was all covered in bog so I know first hand why he is taking buses out of Oz. Did a loop of Portugal, Spain and France over four months, as well as Ireland and Wales. The only thing I did before I left was an oil and filter. I didn't have one problem with the old girl. Greg E
