Syncro back on all 4

Hello,
I have finally go my Syncro back on all for with its new Fox shock, high lift spring, new rubber and winch. Took me a bit longer than expected, hard to work in the shed nowadays when I live 800 km away from it. Very happy with the winch install, you can't even see it with the bash plate installed. Ended up with 860 mm to the bottom of the wheel arches, make it a little harder to get into but do have plenty of clearance now.

Cheers,
Michael R
Wow,

That does look like it has some serious altitude.

What a beast!

Great to hear its back on the road.

Cheers,

Skot

Hi Ben,
Using a set of the GoWesty/H&R German Progressive Spring Set (2" Lift).  We will see how they go. Stiffer than the original one, but the front end feels good under breaking.  Does not sink as much.  I have not really driven it anywhere yet so will let you know what I think after a trip or two.

Cheers,

Michael,

I'd like to hear your report on the Fox shocks. I run the Go Westy
springs with OME shocks but they need more travel to deal with the lift. Springs are great though. They'll soften up a little with a bit of bashing.

Thankyou Micheal,I look forward to another report after a few trips.
I too have a tin-top,and have looked into these 2 inch lift springs from GW.Are you using the ball joint spacer as well??
Are you a heavy or light bloke?(if thats not to personal),as I am 105+ and rekon I could do with some stiffer springs.
What have you done with the rear??

Hi Ben,
Yes, I'm using the top ball joint spacer supplied by GoWesty.  The rear is just the spring and new shocks, no additional spacers. As for my weight..... I'm a shade under 100 kg.  I have remove my spare tyre from under the front but replaced it with a winch so was hopping the stiffer spring may may up for the addition weight.  We will see...

Cheers,
