Syncro prices and team song

If the recent purchase of a Syncro Caravelle by a person who prefers to remain anonymous has people worried about possible  falling values I thought the following current advert by a Sydney RV specialist for a T3 2WD Camper should buoy your spirits:

http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Caravans/Caravans/AdNumber=D917900964757?BackToResult=true&AdOnTop=

If that doesn't do it then click on the following which I would like to propose as the Syncro T3 team song.

Roger,

My brother informed me of this van whilst telling me about another Trakka 85 model for sale on Evil Bay in Cairns with a minimum bid of $4,000.00. No one bid on it.

So if they cant sell a Trakka 2wd in Cairns for $4K how in hell are they going to get $22K for almost the same thing in Sydney???
My brother lives nearby this yard and says everything in there is extremely over priced. They are very optimistic salesmen.

Cheers,

Skot

The three most important points in value are:

1) location
2) location
3) location

€1,000 Syncro Dokas in Europe easily sell US$5,000-US$10,000 here in California. $500 relatively rustfree Karmann Ghia's here are worth €5,000+ in Germany.

I don't know Cairns from Sydney or a hole in the ground. But seems to me there is a sizable geographic gap between the two. There is probably an equal gap in the T3 market as well.

I think you hit the nail on the head there Ben T.

It is a long way from Sydney to Cairns and not that many people willing to travel up there to get the vehicle.

As they say - the price of a vehicle is just what someone is willing to pay at the time.

Hey Roger.. A new Syncro theme song contender "Who could that be now" from Men At Work.Hmmmm. That 2wd camper has been up for sale for a long long time and not moving. Not a great comparison to get your hopes up to high.
