Syncro van - wanted to buy

I am after a syncro T3 van - ideally a camper with pop top, but would consider anything good.

Thanks

Ray

Hi Ray,

Where are you located?  I have my T3 syncro camper for sale in Melbourne as I have a new T5 camper on order. It has a comprehensive camper fit-out but NO pop-top.  Suits me fine like that, but I’m not very tall. It does maintain the full factory level of structural integrity of the van, which I think is important for off-road use. You can see full details & pics at my drive.com ad;-

I’d be happy to talk through any details with you on the ‘phone number below.

Its simple! Sell your car for just $30 at carsales.com.au
My advice be careful of "cheap" i have done the same thing and whilst
i have had some luck in sourcing bitsNpieces cheap = outlay.
Sometimes a decent syncro fitted out is cheaper than one that is fixable.
And don't hesitate to draw on the experience and advice of the members of this group.  This is one of the reasons that the group was set up.

Hi Brian. Thanks for the mail. Your van looks great. I could live
without the pop top, but would prefer a window van if possible.

Do you have any details for the seller?
Thanks - buy cheap but twice! I don't think my Mrs would want to lose
me to a 'project' anyway. As you say, when you add up all the costs
and time, somtimes better to buy quality in the first place.--- In

depending on how keen and what type of money u want to spend they
believe do come up for sale from time to time just last week on ebay
there were two in the one week, 1x89model, 6200 with all the windows
and the other 92model blind side van unsure of final sale price but he
was asking 5500 or 5700, so yes they are around.
Do the homework before buying as i am on a steep learning curve.

Parts can always be sourced overseas more so than Australia as the
cult following for the vehicle is quite large almost fanatical ok it
is fanatical.
Point is unless the fixer upper is less than 1500 and this would still
depend on what is wrong with it. And remember it doesn't matter what
syncro camper or not it is and always will be 2nd hand.

Good luck
Andrew
