Syncros - where are thou?

Great photo Colin!
A pleasure to view two Syncros in the outback nose to nose, or should that be bull bar to bull bar. And Seb, I am a man of your ilk - thong wearer.

Colin, about your rear shocks - a couple of years ago I blew both newish rear Bilstein shocks up north in NT and nursed Syncro back to Melb. Many meals of vegemite sandwiches over time allowed me to save up for the following shock combo: OME front shocks and adjustable rear FOX shocks (external reservoir type) - bliss ever since. Do you like vegemite?

Well…there’s 6 Syncros on Carsales at the moment!
That’s where some of them are.

I noticed that as well. Must be a record.

But seems like none of them is moving… asking too much?

Could be. I see quite a few popping up on the UK based forums I am on as well. Could be symptomatic of the state of the global economy? Offloading the money pit…

Ah Colin, you have re-kindled my memory when I travelled that journey of sorts 50 years ago; rugged, isolated and entrancingly stunning. My chariot then was a battered Beetle. Enjoying your photos!

Great…you gotta love those banksia silos.

Thanks Colin,

Enjoying your photos and I always liked the silo art - turning them into a proper tourist attraction.

Another awesome spot with enormous scary gum trees that like to drop big branches on unsuspecting campers and houses.
Looks like you got the place to yourself. Even better!

Eurimbula. Just north of Agnes Waters.

I’ve camped at 1770 which is a great spot yet not in the spot where your syncro seems well at home.
That track looks quite overgrown though. Did it add a few scratches?

Yeah track was tight, but no scratches.
I must admit I was in 2wd. Waiting for my front diff input shaft seat to get done
