All,
Huge shame the first one isn't a syncro but Scot might snap it up, he'd be well equipped then with 3 x  subie 2.7 litre motors all up ... should last him (or his boss) and future generations well into 3011!

This ex Telecom is just a smidgin optimistic on the price point.

This ex Telecom has had a fair deal of TLC.

For those pining for a caravelle .... dream on/keep searching!

Hi. I notice on the 3rd vehicle listed (fair deal TLC) what looks like an air distributor on the dash in one of the photos. Does this bit of gear improve efficiency in Presitige A/C systems? Greg

If I got half the asking price listing any of these syncros I'd be pretty happy. From listings I follow on ebay it seems good ex-telecom syncros are actually SELLING for 5-8 grand. Having a van with a diff lock though appears to add significant value to a syncro and is often the first question asked on ebay listings.

I have always noted that evilbay brings very low prices for what are in some cases excellent vans.
 
If I was selling ebay would be one of the last places I would try.
 
Carsales/ Trading Post provides somewhere for people to have a better look and even come and see the vehicle before purchasing. If you actually have a good vehicle to sell a face to face look is much better than lots of dodgy blurry distance photos.

Greg,

This bit of gear is just stock standard, usual, Prestige air distributor. Never heard anyone suggest its efficient or up to the task of cooling the whole van on a summers day.

For efficiency, apparently some owners devise a slide across or pull down screen behind the two front seats to contain the cool air up front.  

By all accounts, the only system that gets within a bulls roar of cooling front and rear spaces at the same time is the genuine factory fitted caravelle type a/c system.

For the rest of us, just don't drive anywhere hot.
