Tire and wheel info

Hey Guys,

Was looking at getting some Tiguan wheels and came across this article and thought it might be of interest.

Am I right thinking you have to modify the tiguan wheel and nuts and studs to fit the Syncro ?

Yes you need to increase the centerbore to be able to fit them to the front axle, they will bolt straight up to the rear once the brake drum bolt are removed( the two M7 bolts with the 11mm heads).

The studs on the front are just long enough for the Tiguan rims(San Diego), the rear stud will be short by 2-3 threads. Studs and the proper ball seat nuts are available fromLug Nuts, Studs & Bolts | T3technique -- Vanagon Parts and Accessories
