Tyre rotation

Hi,

I recently have 5 new tyres and want to rotate them including spare.
How often should this be done to maintain even wear on all 5?
Do members do this every 5000km or does it need doing more frequently for Syncro?

If one has a decoupler and only go 'syncro' off road, am I right in thinking it doesn't matter?

It does make it less critical but I would argue well worth doing regardless.
