The women were asked, "How many of you love your husband?"
All the women raised their hands. Then they were asked,
"When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?"
Some women answered today, a few yesterday, and some
couldn't remember.
The women were then told to take out their cell phones and
text their husband: "I love you, sweetheart."
The women were then instructed to exchange phones with
another person, and to read aloud the text message they
received, in response.
Below are 12 replies; some are hilarious.
If you have been married for quite a while....a sign of true love....
who else would reply in such a succinct and honest way?
1. Who the hell is this?
2. Eh, mother of my children, are you sick or what?
3. Yeah, and I love you too. What's up with you?
4. What now? Did you crash the car again?
5. I don't understand what you mean?
6. What the heck did you do now?
8. Don't beat about the bush, just tell me how much you need?
9. Am I dreaming?
10. If you don't tell me who this message is actually for, someone will die.
11. I thought we agreed you wouldn't drink during the day.
12. Your mother is coming to stay with us, isn’t she?

I also have to be mindful that purchasing said above vehicle could prompt a robust exchange (as they say in Parliament) with your dearly beloveds as you park it on the front lawn. I therefore alsofeel obligated to tender the following:

The Haflinger was never fitted with a VW engine. It was powered by a 700cc horizontally opposed air cooled engine, either made by BMW or patterned on the BMW HO motorcycle engines.
We have a Haflinger authority on the membership list, Peter Farrer. With a bit of luck, he might respond to this. He is the person who is organizing the Steyr Puch get-together.

Vehicle for the Steyr Puch Gathering
Yes, that’s correct Les, the 643cc was a pure Steyr Puch design.
A brief bit of history…..after WW2, Steyr Puch began assembling Fiats and decided to fit their own 500cc horizontally opposed, 2 cylinder, air-cooled motor to the Fiat 500.
Later they enlarged it to 650, (well 643cc) and as well as fitting it to the little Fiat they also fitted it to the Haflinger.
Steyr Puch did fit a pure VW diesel motor to the TD Pinzgauer range which were built from 1985 to 2007 (which took over from the original Steyr Puch, air-cooled petrol engine fitted to the original Pinzgauer design of the 1970’s and early 80’s).
They used the D24TIC 6 cylinder diesel as fitted to VW LT vehicles in Europe, then the 5 cylinder as fitted to commercial vehicle here.
The prototypes for the next generation of Pinzgauers developed last decade (BAE now own the rights to the Pinzgauer and have so far not committed to building the new model) used the Steyr Diesel commonly used in Military and Marine applications.
Never ask a “enthusiast” for a short answer 8-))))))
