Who did the unis?
I finally got to the cause of the vibrations. Prop shaft was balanced
and uni joints replaced. No vibes ( only good ones I get from driving
now )
I also replaced one of the inner bushes inside the propshaft to try to eliminate the low rpm
ringing I get. Reduced but not eliminated. I guess to remove this noise completely you need
to remove the inner bush. A welding and major engineering effort that can wait..
Total cost for this exercise $170.
Syncro going well now and ready for some major excursions to the north west this winter..
I've posted some pics of a sand dune that was the closest I've come to being stopped in the
syncro.. Took 3 attempts with 10psi finally getting me up..
