VW Magazine Australia

Hi all,

The latest issue of VW magazine (see promo on the web) features a story and shots from
the 2007 Syncro tour - great work whoever got the story up - Rick? From the web site my
bus is featured in leisurely mode on the cover (middle bottom) and is that Rudi with a
wheel way up further down the page? Nice.

see: http://www.vwma.net.au/

Cheers Murray
Apologies, just saw the previous posting - nice work Bruce.

Hi,

is it possible to get this Issue in europe? Or is there someone who
can send me some good scans for my archive? I don't want to buy all
issues of the year only this one.

Thanks

Hi Murray,

yep - Bruce did a great job with getting a story done promptly for
submission, and Deb prepared some of her photos - Craig (the Editor)
said he was delighted with it all.

Craig also mentioned that he didn't really know a lot about Syncros
and their capability beforehand, but is quite fascinated now.

I think it must be some years since Syncros featured in any Australian
publication. I wonder how many other readers will gain a sudden
interest in Syncros following this article?

Regards,
Mark.

Hi Mark,

I just took out a subscription to the mag for the previous issue after our chat at the Nationals - which I'd been meaning to do anyway. Some really informative stuff and it would be great for Syncros to get more profile in it in the future. Well done Deb with the Pix.

Cheers Murray

I have just received my first subscription copy of VW Magazine
Australia for May/June 07. It contains a double page spread of text
by Bruce Black and pics by Mark and Deb Kofahl, covering the Tour 07.
It is extremely well done and a great credit to all three. Many
thanks to you, and many thanks to Ric and Peter, who organized Tour 07.

It is truly great to see such coverage in a quality magazine,
particularly given that it includes the address of the
Syncro_T3_Australia website. It could well draw some more members.

On the following two pages is a description of the Syncro, with more
pics. There is no attribution so I expect that it was done by Editor
Craig Hughes.

Have a look for it at your newsagent or take out a subscription.

Just bought the VW mag today and the Syncro Tour was a great feature on
a VW model that doesn't normally get a mention .. thanks Bruce, Mark and
Debbie. Will the resale prices for Syncros now go through the roof?

Just a minor quible Mark. I pretty much knew the VC was cactus before I
left home, I just had Rudi and Rick test it during that week and they
confirmed it. The consolation prize though was they discovered I had
rear difflocks on board .. nice.

Thanks for the positive comments on the article. The photos really make it.

Ken
I've just checked what I wrote and that paragraph has been completely changed by the editor.

That's life.
