1 x "Steyr Puch" for Sale (!)

Syncronauts,

Not often seen - 1 vehicle listed under "Steyr Puch" manufacturer on carsales.

Before clicking the link - can you guess what it is? Build date 1974.

Mark.
My guess is Halflinger since you would not have it seem unusual if it was a Pinzgauer.

But for the life of me, I could not find a car sales section in the link you posted.

Mark,

The long orange thing is not a Haflinger.

This short orange thing is a Haflinger:

Hartis,

You need an Aussie translator. Apparently, you have not yet assimilated as well as you might have expected. Les seems to have found some orange thing. Whatever that was. We've joined the club but I'm afraid we haven't got the secret password or the key to the executive washroom (WC ;-)

I did find out that Halflingers were made in RHD as well when used as tugs by the Royal Navy as tugs on aircraft carriers.

Ben, Hart,

They were used by the army in Australia quite some time back.  Someone with familiarity of army hardware could probably put a date on that.

The goes straight to my Hart. Almost. Still didn't get the secret password and how you found the Halfwit in the link.

Seems you're descriminating against people with T's in their name! Besides Harmut, who has two and was naturalized, are there any Aussie members here with a T in their name.

Maybe I ought to be Ben not BenT. But I'd still be straighT.

There's another haflinger on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Haflinger-700-4x4-Fully-restored-road-registered-/220713814138?pt=AU_Cars&hash=item336391887a
they seem to pop up quite often here sometimes with 2 or 3 listed at once. I've only ever seen the odd pinzgauer pop up on ebay though.

Guys n Gals

Apologies for the incorrect link (was the Bendeela area for Ken!) - here is the 'Steyr Puch' shortened link 'triple tested'

Yes, a Haflinger, not a Pinzgauer. Interestingly being sold by a dealer and yes, is RHD.

Happy New Year to all.

Regards
Mark.

It’s donkeys since I laid eyes on one but that looks like the Australian army version.
