Peter,

Looking forward to some good pics.  It is time to change the lead pic on the website and I am sure that you will produce a suitable candidate.

What a fantastic time at "The Tour"

I really enjoyed the week, it was a great get together and thanks to
Peter and Rick for doing all the hard work.

I got home last night and after doing just over 4,000 km's, my fuel
consumption was 9.5 L/100km. Now I don't drive fast (90 mostly) but I
did go a bit faster than normal on the way home. Up to 110 at times
( until the next passing lane )when a 'B' Double appeared on my rear
bumper. I hadn't done a fuel consumption on it before, so I was
pleasantly surprised it was as good as that.

A story for Brian !!

Not long after leaving Shallow Crossing I spoke to a bloke with a 6
month old T5 4 motion Trackkadu. He was proudly showing me all it's
features, which are very impressive I must admit, and when I pointed
out mine across the road he said 'is that a VW ?'. After coming from
a week of being fully immersed in VW Syncro Talk I was quickly
brought back to the reality of the real world.

It was great to meet everyone after seeing all their names on the list.

So thankyou to all for a great time

Hi all,

Did anyone take some video images of the 2007 syncro tour ? I would really like to see some and material and maybe use it on my site !

I will post pics on the home page as they come in.  Participants in the Tour 07 can either post them in the Photos section or send them direct to me: leslieharris@optushome.com.au

It would be good to post a different pic each week.  This will indicate more to visitors than having one fixed pic.

.

Mike,
There will be plenty of pics and video that is for sure.
All the attendees are assembling their footage and are in the
process of sending them to me and then with Marks help we will put
together a master file for publishing for all to enjoy. As you can
see there are some very interesting shots already appearing but
there is a whole lot more to come guaranteed to blow ones mind :-)
Regards
Rick.
