3D Printing

Hi Guys,

talk of no longer available parts made me think of my efforts to get the little curtain runners for Trakka curtains circa 1991. Nobody had them so I had one scanned and will now have 30 spares to replace my cracked and missing ones. Total cost $100.

The way 3D is going we'll be able to fabricate all sorts of materials soon.

Hi Mark,
Do you mean these, available online and ship via australia post? ....
and/or these? ....

Probably other caravan parts suppliers would have similar, also try haberdashery retail stores like Spotlight or Lincraft.
I replaced mine years ago, the nylon runners are usually pretty tough, whereas the gathering hooks tend to go brittle with age.
Think I still have spares and perhaps a brand name if I go drag them out.
Cheers.
Ken

I wish Ken but nothing there the same. But thanks for the tip.

I also wanted to try out 3d so we'll see how it goes.
