5 x Syncro 14" Steel Rims and Tyres

Finally got around to fitting the Mefro's from the last group buy. Hence I have 5 x original steel rims and tyres hanging around the house surplus to requirements. Tyres are Federal Econvan with a decent amount of tread but haven't worn evenly. Ok for around town.

Any reasonable offers taken (not after much). Or swaps for Syncro related memorabilia.

Pickup inner west Sydney.

Cheers.

Jon.

Hi Jon,

I could be interested in the rims/tires. They would give me a bit more time to make up my mind what I want for my bus long term, my tires are reaching the end of their life, but didn't want to spend money on new rims etc until I know what brakes I want.

Trouble is I'm in Brisbane. If it was easy for you to strap them to a pallet, I can put on freight. If that's not easy, don't worry :)

Cheers,

Richard

Hi Jon,

Did you see my reply to this post?

Hi Jon,

Are these still available?

Richard

Richard. I also have a set of 5 syncro rims but only one has a tyre on it. I replaced mine when we did the first group Mefro rims purchase.

Thanks Peter,

It was more the tires I was after. I have used up the 14" tires my bus came with and will soon wear down the 15" tires off my T2 bus, just through a set of tires would give me time to do some other jobs on the bus like the decoupler before sinking funds into a new set of rims and tires.

I have a good set of 14" tires on my T2, but I don't think 185 tires will work well on Syncro rims!

Richard

Hi Richard,

Yes they are still on the porch annoying the neighbours. Where are you based?

Jon.

Thanks Jon,

I am in Brisbane!! If it was easy for you to strap them to a pallet, I can get freight easily enough. If you can't get them on a pallet then it's probably not worth the hassle (I don't drive to Sydney often)

Cheers

Richard

Btw Richard, worth mentioning, pallets galore you find at any Hardware or Electr Wholesalers places, foc. do not try Bunnings !
