April 23 2007 it’s the VW transporter’s birthday anniversary.
60 years ago the Dutch vw importer Pon drew a sketch of what he said vw should build : a box with wheels.
VW, at that time under
the supervision of the allied armies, liked the idea, the transporter was born.
The dutch vw busclub and
vw holland is organizing a meeting Saturday 21 and Sunday 22nd of April to
celebrate the anniversary.
