75 or 100W globes?

Hello, I have just completed the headlight wiring upgrade as per Phil Landers specification thanks to Phil for the information.

I have been advised to run 75W globes not 100W as the 100W get hotter and with vibration will blow easier.

I am interested to hear how people who drive a lot at night and who run the 100W globes get on with globe longevity. Regards Greg
I have never seen a 75W in 12V.

The Auto electrician told me Phillips do one that is lower wattage but burns brighter than a conventional 100W. G

Give it a try.

Is that for the H4 (hi/Lo) or the H3 (High beam)

I wouldn't go 100W in the H3.
