My Syncro has the Trakka conversion so my floor isn’t readily accessible but someone with no floor covering or easily lifted covering might be able to confirm that the seat anchors are part of the floor structure as they were in the T2. If they are, it is just a simple bolt-in job.
Can someone confirm this?

Hi Toby,
I'm not exactly sure about the points for seating, and am still in Melbourne atm so cannot check my van for you, but I know there was no bolt holes for seatbelts, and so for putting the rear westfalia seat in my 92 ex-telecom I had to weld in plates with nuts welded to them for things like the seat bolt z-bar etc. So pretty sure there was no bolt holes for rear seats as well.
