A bit more data

There has been correspondence on the world Syncro websites over the
recent years regarding the fuel consumption of running a Syncro in 2WD
versus 4WD.

I have been running my Syncro in 2WD since fitting a decoupler in
February of this year and have derived the following consumption
figures.

My driving cycle is as follows:
90+% of my driving is in a known daily cycle:
6km suburban, average 40-50kph
4km suburban, average 30-40kph
28km freeway, average 100-105kph
6km Westgate Bridge, average 40-70kph

Over 9488km, I have used 1315 litres, a mixture of standard unleaded
and 95 unleaded.

This has produced 7.21 km/litre, 13.86 litres / 100 km.

Les - what was it previously when running before the install of the
de-coupler?

Mark,

I have to dig that out of my files but I will do so and post it on the website.  It wasn't all that different.
