Access to Radio

Just purchased a nice rubbery / leathery steering wheel cover from Supercrap Auto for $20 that was made for 4wd vehicles and it fitted perfect over the power steering model wheel. If you have a non-power steering model it wont fit as those steering wheels are massive.

Very happy with the look and fit of the cover and apparently they have only just started getting these in.

Michael,

See attached piccy.

These are the larger or 4WD steering wheels and they fit perfect (I think they are around the 17 inch diameter mark as opposed to the typical standard size of 15".

IF they dont have them in stock - get them to order one in. I think they only come in black or grey.

Cheers,

Skot

Michael,

See attached piccy.

These are the larger or 4WD steering wheels and they fit perfect (I think they are around the 17 inch diameter mark as opposed to the typical standard size of 15".

IF they dont have them in stock - get them to order one in. I think they only come in black or grey.

Greg,

Unfortunately not.

I just got everything except the locker on the front. I even have all the wiring labelled ready to go but I stopped there due to cash and I really dont want a front locker - makes it very hard to steer.

The rear locker should be ample.

I plan on putting the de-coupler in there when funds permit as I have a cigarette lighter in the de-coupler spot.

I like the shiny orange label though - good warning even for a rear diff-lock.

Cheers,

Skot

Thanks for the flowers Hart.

Yes the syncro gets very cold in the garage and it makes the cracked windscreen look less obvious according to the boss.

Bring on the summer heat!!!!

Skot,

I am curious about that orange label.   What does it say?

I like the shiny orange label though - good warning even for a rear diff-lock.

Cheers,

Skot

Everybody should have the orange label, what intrigues me though, is that Skot’s appears to be in only 2 languages , can’t make out which ones, whilst the one in the Tristar is located on the left of the panel and in 3 languages ( German/English/frog speak)

Hart was right it is only in 2 languages - English and German. Someone left out the Frogs on this one - what a shame!

Anyway I have attached a photo. It is basically just a warning about the front diff lock.

Cheers,

Skot
