Administerial Changes

I wish to advise all members that I have appointed Francesca Coles as a moderator of the Syncro_T3_Australia group.  Francesca joins Mark Kofahl as group moderator.

My personal circumstances have been undergoing rapid and less than desireable changes this year and I want to ensure that this group remains in capable hands in the event that I can no longer attend to the day to day management.

Our strength is in our members and their willingness to assist any member who asks for assistance.  Please continue to offer your help.  This is what this group is all about.

I hope things improve for you as quickly and thanks for your continued help and assistance in keeping this group the invaluable resource it has been during my syncro ownership.

I realise that I have an existing commitment on the 21st Nov so I won't be able to make the DOVW this year.

Good on you Les. Sincerely hope things improve in the forth coming times. I reckon you made a fine decision with appointing Francesca as the group moderator and that indeed the group will be in fine hands. The way Francesca dealt with the group rim buy was a great effort in determination and persistence. Once again good luck and all the best. You've set this group up well.

Well done Les,Francesca seems to be a "perfect fit" for that role. Hope the changes you're going through turn to desireable ones soon. Also hope you can continue to give your advice from an engineering point of view once in a while. Eddie Bergodaz.

Everyone,

I should have made myself a bit more clear.

I am not dropping out of the group but wanted to have the group in capable hands in the event that I might have to become less active, hence I added Francesca.  Mark has been a moderator for some time.

So long as there are no hidden nasties waiting for me, I expect to stay in Melbourne for another year and I will continue to actively manage the group.  What happens after that is not yet clear but I will eventually finish up in my home town in Queensland , hopefully still with my Syncro.

Until then, I hope that everything will continue as it has in the past but now with two excellent back-ups – Francesca and Mark.

Sorry I haven't managed to reply yet. Thanks for the supportive comments. I don't think it's going to be too onerous helping out as moderator, so long as you guys behave yourselves (-;. Anyway, I'm glad to be able to lend Les a hand, and appreciate his confidence in me.

Unfortunately, I have to also give my apologies for the Day of the VW this year. As per last year there was a conflict with a camping weekend for our kids at Blairgowrie, and they've won out this time. I hope to see you in 2011, if not before.
