VAG Air Conditioner

Does anyone in Melbourne/Victoria have a genuine VAG air conditioner?  I would like to eyeball the original mounting bracket for the compressor.

 

Prestige Air Conditioner

Does anyone in Melbourne/Victoria have a Prestige air conditioner with the original Prestige wiring intact?  I would like to study the original Prestige wiring of the pressure switch on the compressor.  A wire added by Prestige was what brought me undone at the DOTVW a month ago.  If I can see what the Prestige wire tapped into, I can put that on the database so that other Syncro owners with the Prestige installation know where to look.

Replied to your other email. Can take pics for you Tuesday. Possibly with and without the compressor in place depending on what is presently sitting on my friend's shop floor.

Hi, My 84 Van in Canada had one and I thought I sent it across.  I'm still waiting on a few boxes to arrive so I may have one shortly.  Or It may be sitting on the shelf back in Canada, not really shore.  I remember it was a very neat cast aluminium set up and was much lighter than the steel set up on my vehicles over here.  As for my A/C three weeks since I re gassed it and it still working.  (fingers crossed.)
