Another Syncro For Sale

Found another nice syncro in Tassie - has either factory or close to factory A/C, rear locker and cool seat setup.

Looks like a nice one Scott, and nice looking wheels (if they’re the right offset?)
I think the South African AC looks like that, it’s not as bulky as the factory AC.

I’m actually amazed how many syncros are for sale at the moment. None are really selling either despite quite a few people saying on various forums they desperately want a syncro…

The factory A/C did look like this but as you say maybe a little bulkier around those 2 ducts to the back corners. So many variations of this including the cheapie one in my 2wd which barely works. Might need another re-gas :frowning:

I have not been watching much, so am surprised if they are not selling. Then again I was surprised in the lack of interest in the air cooled T3 I tried to sell last year. Will most likely end up on the scrap heap soon.

On the AC, looks different to the factory AC I have (in the auto, not the syncro), and all the controls are in the dash and wiring is all part of the factory loom.

There are quite a few syncros for sale now on Gumtree and other site and for some reason or other they aren’t selling.

Strange as this is syncro season!

Here is another on carsales, a, 87 Westfalia camper asking $16,900

Anybody in the group ?

Hi Uwe.
No one that I know.
Very unusual…it might’ve have been imported, then converted to RHD.
Gerald.

Very nice Westfalia Uwe.

Not many full Westfalia campers in Australia.

I used to see a full Westy camper in North Sydney near a job I was doing - but it was full LHD.

Could have been changed over??

Quite similar to Nils syncro - I wonder what engine it has MV or DJ?

Another nice syncro camper with Camperize pop-top.

They are popping up everywhere!

This one looks nice too and has a 3L 6cyl donk to push it around. That would get you through deep sand…
