Firstly, anyone who would like to have some rear quarter fixed glass, get in
touch. This is what I first used to convert my panel van to a window van, but
now I have custom rear sliding windows. These were not cheap, whereas the fixed
glass you can have for... hmmm 2 6 packs. 1 6 pack per side, that's pretty good
i reckon!! Pick up is from Castle Hill or Quakers Hill NSW depending.
Secondly, for those who are interested, my ex-telstra panel van is now a four
seater, and getting closer to a full westy every other month. Welded some seat
belt mounts etc. All engineer approved. Got round my "can't weld near the fuel
tank" problem by running some steel from one side of the van to the other and
welding on either side. Good mate of mine figured that one out, perfect.
Attached some photos but these doesn't show the steel that I'm referring to.
