As a small contribution to the group and for history & interest sake,
I have scanned and uploaded a couple of articles from VW Power in 1990.

The first outlines the anticipation of the Australian Safari (from
their NEWS page). The second lot is the actual article a few months
later relating to the outcome of the Safari.

The resolution there is hopefully manageable to read. I have uploaded
1 original scan that is very hi-res. Let me know if you would like the
other original scans uploaded.

I have uploaded the article pages to the "Files" section - these are
the original .jpg scans. The page of the photographs is too large for
yahoo. I have not had time to reduce it below the 5120k yahoo limit.
Sending via email the total size becomes larger again.

You should be able to save the images from the files section.

Christoph - would like to see some of your Australian literature if
you have it. There is a link in the links section to an archive
however I have not seen it working. Can you upload anything? Das waere
nett!

Who else is going to Bateman’s Bay from Melbourne ?  Do we want to organize a convoy?  I’m planning to make an easy trip of it, leaving on Friday, and over-nighting somewhere near the border, then reaching Bateman’s Bay meeting point around midday.
