Battery isolator

Hey Les, what do you think about the abr sidewinder dbi140 battery isolater. It does not use a signal wire, instead it switches by sensing the voltage differance between latent battery and alternator charging. I have to remove the H/duty relay I currently have due to space limitations. I don't want to spend a bomb and at under $80 delivered it looks to be a goodn'. Thanks Greg E

Greg,

I don’t know it but I will look into it and get back to you.

My Syncro had the Trakka fitted relay in the engine compartment when I bought it.   I took it off when I pulled out the pathetic wiring for the camper conversion and managed to mislay it.

I have a new Piranha Dual Battery Management System, DBE150S MkII, for sale if anyone is interested.

Les
