I am after a replacement catalytic converter for my 1989 Syncro. the innards have come adrift and loud rattling is the result.
Has anyone replaced their's with a second hand or new converter? Any advice would be appreciated.

G'day Jon,
I replaced my cat several years ago - I think I bought it from Tooley's or Muller's in Sydney.
Your local muffler shop will probably help out - they just have to find one the right size and weld your old flanges onto it.
Or get them to replace it with a straight-through pipe to keep you on the road while you source a new one.
Should be in and out of the shop in no time at all.

Thanks for the reply to my email.
