Changing Topics

This is actually an important point.  When changing topics, please also change the title appropriately.  It makes finding a particular topic a lot easier.
 
The coolant question was quite valid but should have been re-titled.  Studs rusted right through are fairly close to the end of the world!!

Studs rusted right through = Subaru transplant! ;-)

They can be taken out and replaced.  The worst case scenario is when they erode completely through at the base, but, even then, they can be dealt with by spark erosion without damaging the crankcase.  And all this can be totally avoided by using the specified coolant.
