Hi all,

Does anyone have any spare standard 14 x 6 inch syncro wheels that
aren't damaged or too rusty?

I actually want them for my 71 bay. I have my two left over syncro
wheels on the back and two bay window wheels on the front. The syncro
wheels seem to hang onto the hubcaps heaps better and it should stop me
losing my front hubcaps on crappy potholed and unkept roads.

Let me know what you have and where you are - I only need two.

Thank sin advance.

Cheers,

Skot

Skotty pls ask Pedro Coe he has 5, and if he has them for you,

Ken could bring them down next week, after he and me, we, have finished our Syncro projects and SHE comes back from NZ.

Good luck ,  Hartis

Thanks Hart.

Dont load up Kens syncro too much - he will kill you. Just 2 wheels are fine - thanks to Pedro (or Peter) and his hand crank syncro.

Beware of the return of the SHE - they are known to be very dangerous.

Cheers,

Skot

Make sure that they are 14x6. Peter's is an early one.

Hi Skot. I have 5 in good condition with hubcaps.  J6x14H2 ET30 stamped on the rims. I replaced them with the Mefro rims.

Let me know if you would like a couple.

Cheers, Peter from Port

Yes please Peter.

I don't really want the tyres though as these are destined for a lowered old bay window bus and I was planning on putting my white band tyres on them. They are much better at hanging onto hub caps than the standard bay or 2wd T25 rims. I have spent to many hours chasing around for my stray hub caps. Cost me $70 just to get a new hub cap and a spare plus freight.

Depends on what Ken might be willing to bring back down.

Or I might have to make a special trip up to get them.

How much do you want for them?

Cheers,

Skot

Early Australian delivered ones were 5,5 wide. (same as 2WD)

Also Peter.

I don't need the hubcaps as my old bus has those old style domed hub caps.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

Skot

They are just rims Skot so no dramas. The tyres have gone to a better place!!!!

Peter

Peter,

Sorry to stuff you around but Graham Adams from the scenic Central Coast rang and let me know he had a set of 5 standard syncro wheels as well.

I will go and check them out today to see if they work (i.e. bring a hub-cap with me).

At least it will save Ken from dragging extra weight around - he even kicks his Mrs out before he goes off-roading.

Thanks again anyway and I will keep you in mind if Graham's ones don't match up to the rear ones.

Cheers,

Skot

Ken,

Graham had 5 of the syncro rims and hence it was loads easier getting them from him that annoying you and / or me driving up specially to get them.

I have now a full set of 4 syncro rims for my 71.

Now the hub caps will stay on!

Thanks to all that responded.

Sorry Peter to bugger you around.

Cheers,

Skot
