Coolant Rubber Hoses

Ken, Roger,

Last year the two of you had done some great work on the coolant
rubber hoses. The heater hoses did not get much of a mention. I want
to install my SS pipes and at the same time I thought that it would
be a good time to change the heater hoses after 20 years of faultless
service. So I had a closer look and realised that it is not so
straight forward. How the hell do I get to the heater - take off the
instrument panel? The return line near the engine has a few tight
bends, not easy with a straight hose to do, and of course the hoses
are NLA. Has any one attempted this task before? Any suggestion?

Thanks

Theo
Theo,
I can't think when replacing heater hoses has ever been discussed here.

Might be a case of "let sleeping dogs lie". Got enough other higher priority jobs to do. Bit like a revolving door eh. The range of jobs that need doing on the syncro ... never ever stop!
Cheers.
Ken
