Cv Joint

Is the rear cv joint the same in a syncro as a 2wd T3 Transporter. Can either be used. Just lately an intermittent clicking sound has started when engine under load accelerating. OK, nothing heard when turning tight corners or u turning. Have recently replaced the wheel bearing in that same wheel so it's not that.

someone told me that the cv from later T2 could be used either. True?
