Deflcta Wind Rain Deflector

Has anyone purchased the Defleta? from the UK that came up in conversation a few weeks ago? I have A/C in my syncro and its not worth having it on most of the time. Uses more fuel, takes power, only cools front cabin slighly. So Im keen on a set of retro looking wind defletors to cool my cabin.
Merry Christmas to you All out there in Syncro land
Dave
Dave,

I bought a set straight away.

Tossed out my old weather shields as they leak badly and fitted these in 10mins.

Worth every cent and look great IMO.

Cheers & Merry Christmas,

Scott

Hi Skot,

I must have missed out, although I said at the time that I would take 2 kits. Last thing I can remember that he wrote he would come back with a price for postage or something to that extent.

Anyway, can’t find anything in my delete box.

Got these from a guy in Sydney.

His email address is  robert@kuch.com.au

I have his mobile number somewhere if the email doesnt work.

Just back from a big road and off-road trip and they were great.

Cheers,

Scott

Thanks Les.

He is a good bloke and easy to deal with. I picked mine up from his brother as I was in the area and arranged the pick up about an hour before.

They work great and look heaps better than the other crap I had.

Cheers,

Skot

Seems everyone is happy with the Sydney guy but noticed this Sandgate Queensland supplier of $76.50  new ones in clear, grey or green perspex on E Bay.

If the one on your FB (or earlier) Holden is looking a bit shabby by now he can apparently custom make for any brand having cut his teeth supplying GMH /Nasco in the 50's

Roger,

That looks like a good price but they are the ones that fit outside the seal like the ones I just replaced as they leaked badly between the seal and the weathersheild.

These new ones slip in under the seal and so they wont leak if the seals are good.

Mine tested very well over the break.

Cheers,

Skot
