I think that all (or most) of the Australian ones had 4 doors.

As the young guns say these days, "Man, that's sick! RHD plus 4-doors."We only got those in the Chevy & Ford Varieties.=(BenT
Hi Phill,
the 4th door was a M-option, and the 16“ package too. There were no several 16“ production.

classed as a seperate model, althought they had a different body to the
14". Yet the TriStar is classed as a seperate model and the body is no
different to any other dual cab. Same thing with the Caravelle CL & GL.
The syncro 16" club in Munich have most of their production figures
from Graz not Hanover, so they would be more accurate.

Although the body shell was different, the 16" was just classified as a normal syncro with an "M" option. Just like buying a Commodore with a "Weekender" pack.

Christoph,
In Australia we did not have the chance to choose "M" options on our Volkswagens. The vehicles were pre ordered by the importer and certain "M" options were ordered. Depending which batch you syncro came in determined which options it had. Mine has openting vent windows which not all of them had. Also a clock and cigarette lighter. Some of the early ones came with dual diff locks.
